Gatesville ISD is pleased to offer our employees a wide variety of benefits to suit your needs. Combined Benefits Group, Inc. (CBG) is the district’s Third Party Administrator.
Group Health insurance coverage is provided through TRS-ActiveCare, the statewide public school employee health insurance program.
The district's contribution to employee insurance premiums is determined annually by the board of trustees. GISD currently contributes $361/month.
The insurance plan year is from September 1 through August 31. Detailed descriptions of insurance coverage, employee cost, and eligibility requirements are provided at the below link.

District Provided Life Insurance
The district provides $20,000 life insurance coverage (reduces to $10,000 at age 70) for eligible active personnel regularly scheduled to work at least 10 hours or more each week, excluding substitute teachers, retirees and any temporary or seasonal workers.
