SPRING 2024 SURPLUS GOODS AUCTION

The Board of Trustees for Gatesville Independent School District will accept sealed bids on the sale of surplus school items until 2:00pm on May 15, 2024. All bids received will be opened and read aloud at this time. Winning bids will be presented to the School Board for action on May 20, 2024. Persons with the winning bids will be notified the week of May 20, 2024.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked GISD SURPLUS AUCTION 2024.

Your sealed envelope should contain the following information: Your name, address, phone number, the bid item number and the amount you wish to bid.  Bids may be dropped off in person or mailed to:
          GISD Administration Office
          311 S. Lovers Lane
          Gatesville, Texas 76528
Mailed bids received after 2:00pm on May 15, 2024 will not be accepted.
Auction item information is available online @ www.gatesvilleisd.org
Once on the GISD site:
1. Select the tab at the top of the page labeled “DEPARTMENTS”
2. Then Select the option for “BIDS/PROPOSALS REQUESTS”
3. Then Select the option for “ACTIVE BID SOLICITATIONS”
4. And then view the bid items under “AUCTION 2024”

 

Everything will be sold "AS IS, WHERE IS", with no guarantees of any kind. The person with the winning bid is responsible for moving purchased items on their own.

The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids and to waive any formalities.
